Born on the shores of Bayou Gauche, Louisiana, our beloved great-grandparents, Jeffrey and Lena, lived off the land and built a small family business called Bayou Gauche Seafood Co. There, they sold their famous stuffed crabs under the name REE-LEE Brand Stuffed Crabs, proudly using the slogan “The Way You Like Them.” It was a simple way of life built on hard work, family, and great food.

The name REE-LEE comes directly from their names—Jeffrey (pronounced Jeff-ree) and Lena (pronounced Lee-na). The name itself is a tribute to the two people whose dedication, cooking, and family values created the tradition that started it all.

Today, we are proud to bring the REE-LEE Brand back to life. Inspired by our great-grandparents’ legacy, we continue that tradition with our own slogan, “The Way You Like It.”
